I finally got a DIY scratched off my to-do list this weekend, using a very popular roller blind tutorial, a $15 roller blind, fabric I already had, fabric glue and an iron! Over all I love it. It took me a total of two or so hours to finish both of them. As I was worried it would look a little cheap I found using upholstery weight material plays a huge part in the DIYs quality, and imagine anything lighter would be too airy. You wouldn't believe where i picked up that fabric: joanns, in the remnant section a year ago for $22 a yard. The boys room is getting a mini makeover, keep checking in for progress!
