Party till it's 19.....2012!!

I am so ready for the new year around the corner here. With so much planned with my business and a small art collection I'm feel so alive and happy! My two boys are healthy with bouncy and bright little souls... really what else could a mother ask for!?

Tonight I'm off to a couple gatherings with friends to party the night away until it's 2012.

Imperial Trellis Dining Chairs.

I haven't even full cleaned my house from christmas and I am already on to another C+O project. When I got this fabric Christmas eve I was itching to get it started. Now, I am finally on it and have recovered 3/4 of the chairs for a dining set. My initial instinct was to paint the chairs a light creamy white but, now I wonder if they should be refinished and let the natural wood shine through? Any thoughts? Here are the chairs and below are some inspiration images for the fabric.

Post Christmas.

Jezz! Are you guys still cleaning up from christmas, I know I am... What a precious holiday I had. We cooked and awesome meal. Listened to holiday music and un wrapped presents. I thought I'd upload some pictures and spend the rest of my time continuing to clean my house, it's pretty trashed.

Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas my darlings!
I am spending these days with my family and travelled to see them and show them the baby bump, and left Beau Boyfriend spending christmas with his family. The first ever Christmas we spend apart in all those years, but he didn't had more vacations days to take free for traveling. The weather here is cold, but soft and sunny, no way it was going to be a white christmas.
I have got terribly spoiled by my girlfriends who hosted a surprise baby shower last friday and took me out for dinner. So this is what I have been doing in a nutshell.
I just hope your having a lovely warm time with family and loved ones.
