Live Love London BHS Beauty Brand Hand Wash & Hand Lotion Review

So here we have a Hand Wash and Hand Lotion from Bhs Beauty brand Live Love London.

They come in different fragrances and i got to try out Elegance Luxury hand wash and Sensuous luxury hand lotion too.

We always have hand wash in the kitchen and bathroom but never actually have we had hand lotion.I mean i do use hand cream and hand lotion but i have never thought of using it straight after washing my hands.That sort of reminds me of some posh toilets in hotel a or something swish hee hee.

We have used both of them in the bathroom and i say we as Jamie my partner has also used them and even Teegan my daughter as she wanted to feel grown up by putting cream on too.

This fragrance Elegance is gorgeous and doesn't have a feminine or masculine smell meaning anybody can use it.It just has a really fresh smell.

It is a clear soap which bubbles up lovely leaving your hands soft and clean ♥

The Sensuous hand lotion has been gorgeous to use as like i said above i use it straight after washing my hands now which i never would of thought of doing before.

It's a great idea as leaves you smelling gorgeous and your hands so so soft and plus you only need a small amount as it goes a long way and sinks into the skin lovely.I would say it smell of coconut,almond and maybe a hint of marzipan.So yes men or woman can use it's beautiful.

Really does keep your hands moisturised throughout the day though.

So not sure if you guys have heard but the all famous household doll is now getting a makeover,i don't usually blog about things like this nor do i usually piggy back off news stories.

But i will make this an exception as for years i have played with Barbie since i was little and now I'm 37,but back then we also had Cindy who had dark hair and more plumper features so it was never such a big deal.But as time went by,Cindy disappeared and we were just left with Barbie this leggy very thin blonde plastic doll who was very thin and had no shape.

This still didn't effect me as a child as i didn't really think of Barbie as a role model but then my daughter is only 4 now and plays with Barbie and i played with my Barbies until i was prob 8 or 9 maybe even 10 lol.OK is that normal? who knows but i did.So by that age you are thinking about body shape and why are these dolls so pretty and perfect.

For me this is a positive step and everyone and his dog has always moaned about barbie being,only blonde,far too thin and not even life like.So i think it's amazing they have finally seen sense and done what is right and got with the real world.

My daughter plays with Barbie so it's nice to know that she will be able to choose one that she likes rather than all looking the same and just having different outfits.so if she wants a petite doll or tall doll,thin doll or curvy doll,doll with different skin type or different eyes then she has this choice.

So i applaud them for doing this new range and think it's fantastic.

It has already come under backlash and people are not happy with it,saying things such as don't push adult problems and insecurities onto children.I for one think that's mad as like i said i might be a minority but i played with mine until i was 8.9 maybe 10. Others are saying that Barbie have still not thought about bringing out more such as the gay or lesbian barbie?? not sure how that would work as we don't even know if people are straight gay,lesbian or bi in real life,so do they want a barbie with lesbian stamped onto her/ {that didn't make sense} All as i can say is i for one think it's an amazing positive step for the future and for a children in a society where body image is everything.

Would love to hear your thoughts on this too?

Live Love London New Brand In BHS Love Your Look Palette

So here is a brand new brand called Live Love London Makeup Obsession.This is exclusively sold in Bhs which is British home stores.They sell a range of affordable Makeup and Toiletries and i couldn't wait to test these out.

So Bhs Beauty sell bath products,hair products and a range of makeup.

This new brand has launched into more than 100 BHS stores nationwide and at the moment is only available in store so nip down to your closest BHS and see if they have this.

If you read my blog or watch my youtube then you will know I'm just a makeup freak hee hee,but I'm guessing you are too and that's why you're here?

So i was sent this smokey palette which has a range of highlight and matte shades.I do love a palette with a matte highlight and shimmer highlight and this ticks both boxes.

There are 12 colours in total with a really cool unique quirky design.

As you will see Live Love is printed into the highlight powder shades and then the darker shades have a stippled quirky look which i really like.

It comes with a normal double ended sponge applicator and the packaging is sturdy plastic.

Has no mirror but hey who uses a mirror in a palette? as i know i don't.

You don't hear much of BHS so i wasn't expecting amazing things but i was pleasantly surprised.These palettes are only a few pounds and have fab pigmentation,They lasted on my eyes the whole day,like any other shadows to be honest but i loved that smokey eye effect you can get from this palette,so here are my swatches.♥

As you can see very pigmented and i love the grey silver tones but the fact it has a few browns and gold too make this a fab choice for the day and then smoke it up for a night out.

All in all i think the palette was great and would most defiantly purchase more of this brand if everything is as good as this.

Hi so i have got quite a few lip creams from makeup revolution which i would really love to share with you.

I have seven here in total and they come in the gorgeous rose gold packaging which always screams you need to buy me hee hee,well it does to me anyway.

Then because I'm so good i have turned the boxes on the side so hopefully you can see the name of each shade if you click to make the photo bigger.

They smell really nice and come with a normal applicator.

But don't get these ones mixed up with the ones that dry,these ones are not matte and more a cream so they are not as pigmented and don't dry.The ones that dry are the velvet lip lacquers.

These however give a good colour and are no sticky which is such a bonus as i really can't bide anything sticky.

I wouldn't say they last a long time on the lips as they are creamy but if you are not eating or drinking then they should last i would say a 2 hour mark {about}

Really nice products to have in my collection and great to put on quick before going on a school run or just if you are popping to the shop as application is easy.

So here are two Beautyuk Lips Matter velvet type lip creams.

They come with the usual applicator and go onto the lips really smooth and creamy with a thick{not too thick} velvet finish,you have enough time to make them look pouty perfect before they dry.

Here are the colours and they do dry down to a total matte,so will not budge from your lips,you can eat drink and they will stay for hours ♥

I tried the peach colour first which i think would be better suited in the summer when i have a tan and plus i love that colour in the summer too,i wear it a lot.so the one on the left is called That'll Peach You .... lol that is such a cool name hee hee.But my favourite was the plum shade on the right and i actually think it suited me better and just looked better with my complexion and for this time of year.This is called Shake Your Plum.

So this is a review of the Narsissist palette,this is such a talked and raved about palette that i really needed to find out for myself what all the hype was about.I read a blog from Missmakeupmagpie which was great and at the time she sold me this palette from just reading her blog.I really wanted it so much.So when i first purchased it i fell in love right away.BUT and yes it's a big BUT,i needed time to get used to the palette and not  to jump on the i love band waggon so quickly.

The packaging to this palette is stunning i must say,the mirror effect to the top is lush and it's very sturdy.Even the look of the shadows is stunning too ♥

Plus you get a brush which alone is worth a fortune as nars is expensive.

The brush is a mini but it's fab it's very soft and a really good brush.

My problem with this palette after using it a good few times is that i really wasn't wowed by it like all the other bloggers who rave about it.I understand we all have different opinions and love different things and different brands,but for me the swatches were just mediocre and nothing special,nothing wowed me even used dry or damp.

The swatches i have done i use a damp finger,slightly damp with a baby wipe,which you would think should make them stand out and feel like butter...... well see for yourself.

Are you wowed,no neither was i.

So here i took with flash to see the shimmer or glitter.

Again are you wowed? no I'm afraid i was not wowed either,i do like this palette don't get me wrong.The colours are pigmented and very pretty and i will use it.

Are they as pigmented as i thought they would be or as pretty as i had hoped or as wearable as everyone and his dog had raved about??? No i will always 100% tell you my honest opinion and i have had more pigmentation and pretty colours from brands such as makeup Revolution.Freedom and Mua.

I was really hoping to fall in love with this palette as £45 for 8 shadows was expensive for me.

Love the look of it but wasn't happy with the shadows themselves.So no i wouldn't say rush out and purchase this,it is obviously upto the individual but i would not repurchase this at all and was slightly gutted.

Welcome and Happy New Year 2016! I am telling you, it is a very beautiful year - Why? Well, as you all might know Pantone - the world wide standard for color communication and inspiration - has chosen two colors as the color of the year 2016. And these two colors are: Rose Quartz and Serenity (hands up, if you instantly thinking about Sailor Moon while reading the name "Serenity" (´∪`*)) - a perfect unisex color combination that screams for spring. Definitely reason enough to fit these two awesome colors into the Vernissage & Cream header.

Willkommen im neuen Jahr 2016! Angesichts der Farbe(n) des Jahres - Rose Quartz & Serenity (oh, wer denkt hier nicht sofort an Sailor Moon (´∪`*)) - ein wunderschönes Jahr! For all illustrators and art lovers i finally got another little illustration from my childhood. This illustration is from 1995 and still  clearly remember how proud i was about painting the cat's collar in every rainbow color with such a precision - every stripe patiencely drawn by hand (=´▿｀=)!

Für alle Illustratoren und Kunstfreunde unter Euch gibt es hier endlich wieder mal eine kleine Illustration aus meiner Kindheit. Diese Illustration stammt aus dem Jahr 1995 und ich erinnere mich noch ganz genau daran wie stolz ich auf dieses Halsband in Regenbogenfarben war - jeder Farbstrich fein säuberlich von Hand gemalt (=´▿｀=)!

So here we have a new release by Beautyuk,they are cream blush sticks called Sweet cheeks {cute name}

and they have 6 different shades to choose from.

The packaging is nice and vibrant and they wind up from the bottom.

They are only £3.99 each and contain Shea butter,vitamin c and jojoba oil which is gentle on the skin and gives a healthy dewy glow.I chose the shades Vanilla ice which is a highlight shade and a gorgeous pink blush in the colour Raspberry Ripple.

Here are the swatches,as you can see it's a very subtle shimmer highlight and not too in your face,as i know a lot of people don't like way too much shimmer so this would be perfect.Then the blush is a gorgeous colour,you don't actually need this much,you only need the smallest amount as they are very pigmented.You can easy blend this with a stippling type brush or with your fingers,whichever you prefer.It gives a lovely rosy glow.

I think they are well worth the price and will last for ages as you only need to use a tiny amount.

So this is a review and swatches of the Beauty Uk shimmer box in bronze no1.

It is £4.99 and comes in sturdy hard outer plastic packaging with a good size mirror.

As you can see from the photo you get 5 different coloured stripes which can be used as a gorgeous highlight or actually 5 different gorgeous highlights,plus also can be used equally as good as eyeshadow too ;)

This is no longer available in Superdrug anymore and I'm really hoping they do come back on the high street as i love Beauty Uk :( they have a bronzer i use which is actually my holy grail item,plus i own lipsticks and blushers,highlighters,so grrr Superdrug we need Beautyuk back.

Yes i know the colours are gorgeous and would look gorgeous on eyes or cheeks or even on your body over a tan would look fab too.You can use individual or when blended it looks like this......

How stunning is that golden glow? very pigmented,would really suit all skin tones as you can choose which colours to mix.Really do love this and they have either a bronze one to choose from or a pink rose coloured one.

So here you can see the beautiful colours of the salvation palette called welcome to the pleasuredome ....love the name of this palette {80's inspired names are just the best}

There are 12 stunning shimmer colours at the top and then what i love is you get 6 matte shades to the bottom.

Perfect a matte and shimmer highlight and perfect crease colours 10/10

The packaging is very alluring with a corset style logo to the front.

All shades are named on the clear plastic,i do tend to lose these so i wish they were printed inside,but for the price you really can't ask for anything more.These palettes are only £6.00 which is so cheap considering the amount of shadows you actually get.

I have taken some swatches with and without flash for you to see any shimmer colours in a different light,i love the teal and the green and blue ♥

They are not my favourite Makeup revolution palettes as i do have a soft spot for the 32 shade palettes from them,but i do think they are pigmented and the colours are fantastic.If you collect makeup like myself then I'm sure you will love it.
