A story board for Sarah.

Sarah has really great taste and really loved this room. She loved the Lucite coffee table and the royal blue sofa.

Sarah also adores the pattern ikat and has a 6 year old chihuahua named Ed Hardy.

She named her dog Ed Hardy, after the brand Ed Hardy, of coarse. When she thought that brand was the Sn"it" in 2006. Fortunately for Sarah she's moved on to bigger and better things but, unfortunately for little Eddie it's the only name he'll respond to and Sarah dislikes how her dog is a constant reminder of Jersey Shores.

and being a person who once named one of my dogs Carona (who now is my grandmas dog...even better). I thought that is one of the best dog stories I've ever heard.

Sarah also loved this sofa I found on her on CL for $425 but, her husband who is VERY tall (6'5") told her he didn't care about anything in the living room except that the sofa was big enough for him to enjoy.

So, we found this (which THEY love) but, it is too big for the living room even though hubs loves.

At least we found the perfect inspiration sofa to work with.

Sarah also wanted to incooperate a bench like this in to the design

(which btw is a DIY I am going to show off in a couple weeks)

What we came up with

1. Lucite coffee table from cb2 $279
2. The sofa was $100
3. The rug price starts at only $55 sold at Home Depot?!
4. The white marble tulip table is sold on over stock for $229. Which is a spot in the design where sarah can save money because there are a ton of cheap white marble round side tables on craigslist. But! that base is gorgeous.
The pillows are 2 for $20 on a Ebay source I came across
The first lamp is $113 from lighting direct. Another place sarah can save money. Old brass vintage lamps like these are sold at goodwill, or CL. They even look better when sprayed gold.
The second lamps are by Nate Berkus $150

Both the coffee table and stool were under $20 on CL
The rug is from ikea priced at $79
The lambskin is from ikea price at $29

I would use a professional staple gun and recover the bench using a layer of foam or the stool as is.

The entire cost of the living room would cost Sarah as little as $650-$1500... $1500 if, your including the Tom Ford book thats like $250

Usually aren't your sofa and rug suppose to be more then a book?

:)

Thanks for tuning in today, boys are up from there nap and I'm trying to fix an issue with my dish washer...
Get this: My fancy shmasy dishwasher has a some sensor that doesn't allow you to start or even cycle a load until you move what ever's in the way, out. The problem is it doesn't tell you whats in the way. You'll be move something thinking that must be it. Then is still won't start. It ends up like this.

Move Dish
close
Push button
No start
?!
Move another dish
Close
Push button
still no start... !?$&*

5 minutes of that later, it starts.

It's making me work for it.
