EVENT | #WeRunAmsterdam !

I've reached a milestone in my life.. It was on my bucketlist and I thought it was time to cross it off of that list. I've completed my first 10K running race! If you ask me a year ago, I wouldn't believe that I would join the race. Some friends and I decided to just go for it and I'm happy we did. I have been busy with some other projects (my sister's wedding) so I didn't have much time to prepare myself for the race the last few weeks, so I was a bit pessimistic about the time I would finish the race in and I eventually got in the group for completing it in 70 minutes. And my official time was 73minutes which I'm kinda proud of, especially for my first time.

Overall the race was such fun! Lovely people and there was lots of things to do, unfortunately I had to work before the race so I had to 'race' to Amsterdam right after work which gave me no time to do awesome makeup and hair. Maybe next year??

Did you join the Nike Womens 10k in Amsterdam? or elsewhere?

OOTD & HAUL | How I wear my flyknits

MANGO dress, Tally Weily bag, RayBan sunglasses, Nike flyknit lunar 2

Soo.. I bought some new NIKES and I really shouldn't but I was thinking about it the whole time while I was in the library 'studying'. I couldn't stop thinking about it, it was 20% off at Zalando. So just to get me back to work, I bought them.. And it totally was worth it! I can wear this for running, the gym and even on a daily basis when I'm running some errands. This is how I would style them when I'm just getting through the day, heading to the library again. I love how the simple and versatile this dress from Mango is. The other day I wore this with some heels and it instantly gives you a chic look while pairing it with these sneakers will give you a more casual look!

What do you think of this outfit? How would you wear these sneakers?

HAUL | Nike Flyknits Free runs

Nike Flyknit Free run

This is by far the best bargain I've had since a while! I got the Nike Flyknit Free runs! How awesome.
The best part is that it was only 49 euros instead of the 150 euros I was prepared to pay.
A friend of mine was on a holiday and visited a Nike outlet and tadaaah they had these flyknits in my size. I think the colourway is really nice, it brings out the woven pattern better. And they're really comfortable to walk/run in! So happyy

What do you think of these Flyknits?

HAUL | My love affair with Nike

Nike Air max thea black (here) , Nike Air max thea cherrywood (here)

I like to wear sneakers when I don't wear my ankle boots. And one of my favorite sneaker brand is probably Nike (surprise!). I've gotten really into them ever since I bought my janoski's, you can see the post here. It went from "into it" to "really liking it" as I got another pair here. And then it got worse with the Sky High Dunks here, quickly followed by my first ever Air Max Thea in Cherrywood here. I was in love as they were the comfiest sneakers I ever own. And I could literally bounce on my feet when I'm running or walking. So it's not a surprise when I finally got ahold on the black Thea's, as they run out fast (no pun intended), I bought it. Ah well it means that I won't be able to shop for awhile.. Probably a good thing.

Oh and If you ever consider on buying them, buy a half size up! It runs a bit small.

Do you like the Thea's? And do you have a favorite sneaker?

ootd | Less per-suede-sion needed

Pimkie scarf, thrifted black suede skirt, H&M jacket, Nike janoski shoes
I've decided to join the gym again after such a long time, but this time with some more routine and dedication to it. I'm liking it and feeling great so far. It helps me put out my frustrations of my project for school. Less persuasion needed. The outfit I'm wearing was not intended to just go to the gym but for some brunch in the city as well. And I got to wear my thrifted black suede skirt. I've been wanting to wear a knee length (midi) skirt for quite some time now and this item certainly didn't disappoint me. I just love the suede material of it. Such a skirt is so versatile, you can either dress it up by wearing heels or dress it down with some sneakers and sweater. I can't wait to wear it more often!

*Unexpected update!*
While procrastinating and doing pretty much everything else except for working on my project, I came up with a new header! Do you like it? I'm planning to slowly update the rest of the layout throughout the day as well so stay tuned!

Comfort is Key #2

Jumper: Factorie. Leggings: Topshop. Bag: TKmaxx. Belt: ASOS. Nike Blazers: JD Sports. Earrings, Necklace, Hair Ties& Triangle Ring: c/o Kitsch. Silver Ring: Bohemian Collective. Gold jewel ring: Alex Monroe.
It’s a common fact that when you feel comfortable in your clothes, confidence tags along. Currently this is my go-to comfy outfit and I’ve found myself reaching for comfort much more recently. With buying the house I’m feeling a little stressed and as each day means we’re a little bit closer I just don’t want to worry about what I’m wearing - but of course I still want to look ‘presentable’!

My factorie jumper that I picked up in Australia is getting a bit worn down now as I’ve worn it to death but I’m still completely in love with it. Topshop have stopped making these leggings, and I could probably cry about it - they’re such a snug fit and the velvet detailing makes them that little bit more interesting. They’re starting to lose their shape a little now though so I need to find some alternatives – I’m thinking Zara might be a safe bet.Delicate jewellery always gets a big thumbs up from me and this necklace and earrings set from kitsch along with their lovely little triangle ring are so pretty. I’m also a bit in love with their hair ties – I always have a hairbobble on my wrist and let’s face it they don’t exactly look pretty. However kitsch have got it spot on with these pretty little ties, my favourite is definitely the gold glitter one and with the stretchy elastic you don’t get a kink in your hair – hell yeaaaah.
And...are your eyes serving you right? Yes, yes they are; I am wearing Nike Blazers. Daniel and I decided last weekend that we were going to have a day off house shopping and I accidently stumbled into JD sports and fell in love with these little ones. I love the colour and they are literally the most comfiest pair of shoes I have ever owned, ever. I thought they might feel a little chunky but they actually feel quite light and fit live a glove.

Last night I went to see The Rocket Summer (a solo American singer), who is one of my absolute favourites. It’s completely cheesy American pop/rock but I frickin’ love it - it’s the kind of music you can’t sit still to and just puts a huge smile on your face. Small, personal gigs are the best kind and he spent the majority of the evening chatting with us all in-between sets, asking what we wanted to hear and coming into the audience for a dance off! Bloody brilliant.
Are you all having a good week so far? :)
