Benefit Cosmetics in Frankfurt

Last Saturday Nastasja from Vitaesse and I visited the Benefit Cosmetics counter at Douglas Frankfurt Zeil - a very famous and huge beauty & cosmetics store here in Germany. For those who have not been there before, here are some impressions - the counter is located at the ground floor on the left side near the entrance:

Vergangenen Samstag waren Nastasja von Vitaesse und ich zu Besuch am BenefitCounter in der Douglas Filiale auf der Zeil. Für alle, die bisher noch nie dort waren, folgen nun einige Eindrücke vom Frankfurter Counter, der direkt im Erdgeschoss auf der linken Seite in der Nähe des Eingangs zu finden ist:

Unser #benebabe Tina gab uns außerdem eine kleine Einführung in das neueste bei Douglas erhältliche Produkt – die „Maybe Baby Body Cream“, welche im Body Set „Baby Be Mine“ enthalten ist. Eines kann ich Euch schon mal versprechen: Diese Cream riecht genauso gut wie sie aussieht (^‿^✿)! 

Our #benebabe Tina has given us a little introduction into the newes available product  – the „Maybe Baby Body Cream“, which is the highlight content of the  Body Set „Baby Be Mine“. And i promise you: This cream smells just as good as its packaging - gorgeous (^‿^✿)!

Als großer Fan von Lippenprodukten war ich natürlich hellauf begeistert als Tina (๑^ں^๑)~♥ uns mit einem süßen Freebie überraschte – und zwar mit einem Benefit „lolli balm“!
Der „lolli balm“ ist ein leicht getönter, Feuchtigkeit spendender Lippen Balsam. Unsere Farbe hier nennt sich „Candy-Orchid“. Ich werde hierzu noch einen separaten Review Post schreiben, daher hier erstmal eine kleine "in-store" Vorschau:

As a huge fan of lip care products I was highly delighted when Tina (๑^ں^๑)~♥ surprises us with a cute freebie  – it was a Benefit "lolli balm"! The "lolli balm" is a hydrating tinted lip balm. and our color was "Candy Orchid". I am going to post a detailed review soon - just for now: this is how it looks like "in-store".

Glamour Cafe Frankfurt 2015

Hello my dears, it's high time for a new post! And its going to be literally "glamorous" (ღ˘⌣˘ღ)! On last Saturday i was invited to the Glamour Cafe Girls Brunch powered by Moët & Chandon together with with Nastasja from Vitaesse, a dear friend and blogger colleague. The Glamour Cafe is touring as a pop-up cafe and showroom through Hamburg, Frankfurt, Berlin and Munich. The Glamour Cafe series slogan is: Eat. Shop. Enjoy.

Hallo Ihr Lieben, es ist wieder einmal höchste Zeit für einen neuen Post! Und es wird im wahrsten Sinne des Wortes „glamourös“ (ღ˘⌣˘ღ)!

Am vergangenen Samstag wurden ich und Nastasja von Vitaesse, eine liebe Freundin und Blogger Kollegin, zum Glamour Cafe Girls Brunch powered by Moët & Chandon eingeladen. Das Glamour Cafe tourt zur Zeit als Pop-Up Cafeund Showroom durch Hamburg, Frankfurt, Berlin und München. Das Motto der Glamour Cafe Reihe: Eat. Shop. Enjoy.

The Glamour Cafe related showroom was located inside the MyZeil shopping center - near the exit in the direction of Thurn & Taxis Palais. Beyond that you could have had the opportunity to join in several workshops and events throughout the whole day from Thursday to Friday. Keeping up an eye on time, we were pretty happy to be able to attend the Girls Brunch on a last-minute base (and still keeping in mind that after all the the opening party for Frankfurt on Thursday had to be cancelled). 

Der zum Glamour Cafe zugehörige Showroom war im MyZeil Shopping Center am Ausgang richtung Thurn und Taxis Palais zu finden.Von Donnerstag bis Samstag hatte man darüber hinaus vor Ort noch die Möglichkeit an diversen Workshops und Events teilzunehmen. Zeitlich gesehen waren wir jedenfalls froh, dass es last-minute mit dem Girls Brunch doch noch gepasst hat (nachdem die Opening Party für Frankfurt am Donnerstag Abend leider nicht statt finden konnte).

The Girls Brunch powered by Moët & Chandon took place at Frohsein Restaurant which is located inside the Thurn & Taxis Palais building. If you are following me on Instagram you might have noticed that we called it Froh-"sinn" instead of its actual correct name Froh-"sein". Obviously they changed the name recently, since they were a lot of older tags about that restaurant location with the other name. If you take a closer look to my Instagram post with the fresh fruits they served for the Girls Brunch, you can see the actual restaurant name written on the window front. Nastasja and me shared a four persons table together with Maika and Stephanie（*⌒-⌒*). Here you can see some impressions of the Girls Brunch, including delicious food photography which not only food bloggers might enjoy looking at (´∪`*).

Der Girls Brunch powered by Moët & Chandon fand im Restaurant Frohsein statt (ja, es heißt Froh-„sein“ und nicht (mehr) Froh-„sinn“ – es fand wohl offensichtlich eine kleine Namensänderung statt). Wer mir auf Instagram folgt, konnte schon mal einen kleinen vorab Einblick über dieses Event erhalten.

Nastasjaund Ich teilten uns den Tisch zusammen mit den beiden Mädels Maika und Stephanie（*^-^*). Hier seht Ihr nun ein paar Brunch Impressionen inklusive leckerer Food Fotografie, an der sicherlich nicht nur Food Blogger ihre Freude haben dürften (´∪`*).

Blogger Bazaar Frankfurt 2015

Well, Rome wasn't built in a day. It's been more than a while since i announced my review about this year's Blogger Bazaar in Frankfurt, but as you all know: Better late than never! So as already announced on Instagram, here we go (●^ ᴥ ^●):
In the mid of July this year's Blogger Bazaar took place at the Villa FFM here in Frankfurt where i have also been right on the spot, of course:
 

Gut Ding will Weile haben… Nun ist es zwar schon eine ganze Weile her, seit ich meinen Bericht zum diesjährigen Blogger Bazaar in Frankfurtangekündigt habe, aber wie heißt es doch so schön: Besser spät, als nie! Also wie bereits auf Instagram angekündigt, geht’s hier nun endlich 
weiter (●^ ᴥ ^●):
Mitte Juni fand in der Villa FFM der Frankfurter Blogger Bazaarstatt – und selbstverständlich war ich auch dieses Jahr wieder vor Ort.

 

This year the location was not as glamorous as the one at Palais Quartier in 2014 with its beautiful chandeliers and Hollywood-style overhead lighting (you can read my review → here). In fact, it somehow has the aura of a vintage-hipster-student's-party - oh, and "House of Blogger" would have been a suitable title or plug.

Die Location war in diesem Jahr nicht ganz so glamourös wie das Palais Quartier mit seinen hübschen Kronleuchtern und filmreifer Bühnendeckenbeleuchtung vom letzten Jahr (meinen Bericht dazu könnt Ihr → hiernachlesen), sondern hatte eher den Flair einer Vintage-Hipster-Fashion-Studenten-Party– oh, und „House of Bloggers“ wäre übrigens auch ein guter Titel bzw. Aufhänger gewesen.

I unfortunatelly was not at the spot in time and furthermore Frankfurt city was broad blocked around the Hauptwache area because of a demo, and my blogger collegue and company from last year's Blogger Bazaar was busy and as this was not all enough - it was raining cats and dogs (‾-‾~). I almost decided not to go, but nevertheless. i have found my way to the Villa FFM.
When i arrived, a couple of people with their "Fashion for Compliments" cotton bags (indeed a very witty print) already came towards my way - and my first thought was: Is it already over? Because last year people were waiting in a very long line around the corner. This year i have missed all the faces from last year - both visitors ans bloggers... Anyway the Hypnotized girls were there again - and oh damn, i wish i had tried on that sweet oversized rose shirt i have found at their booth - (*-3-):

Ich war leider nicht pünktlich zu Beginn vor Ort und darüber hinaus war die Frankfurter Innenstadt rund um die Hauptwache wegen einer Demo großräumig gesperrt, meine Blogger Kollegin und Begleitung vom letzten Blogger Bazaar war leider verhindert und dann hat es auch noch obendrein wie aus Kübeln geregnet (‾-‾~). Im Grunde war der Tag somit schon so gut wie ins Wasser gefallen… nun ja, sei’s drum – ich lies mich jedenfalls nicht so leicht entmutigen und so machte ich mich auf den Weg zur Villa FFM in die Windmühlstraße.
Als ich ankam, kamen mir schon jede Menge Leute mit ihren „Fashion for Compliments“ – Jutebeuteln (äußerst origineller Print-Spruch auf den Goodie Bags) entgegen -  Oha, schon alles vorbei? – war mein erster Gedanke. Letztes Jahr um diese Zeit standen sie alle jedenfalls kilometerlang Schlange ums Eck. Dieses Jahr habe ich so einige bekannte Gesichter vom Vorjahr vermisst – sowohl bei den Besuchern, als auch unter den Bloggern… Wieder dabei waren jedenfalls die Mädels von Hypnotized - und ach, hätt ich doch mal dieses süße oversized Rosenoberteil anprobiert - (*-3-):

I cannot remember how many rooms  the Villa FFM has, but in every room there were depending on the size, three to four blogger booths. Though some kind of orientation system would have been nice to have as an overview of all present blogger and brand booths.

Ich weiß nicht mehr genau wie viele Zimmer die Villa insgesamt hatte, aber in jedem Raum befanden sich je nach Größe etwa drei bis vier Stände. Eine Art Orientierungssystem wäre nicht schlecht gewesen, anhand dessen man einen besseren Überblick über die anwesenden Blogger und Marken-Stände der Sponsorenhatte haben können.

In the upper levels there also were some empty rooms when i arrived (a few hours after the official inlet) - quite unusual for such a hyped event. On Instagram i have read that many other visitors had their problems finding the booth of their favorite bloggers. So all my respect for the Blogger Bazaar 2014 at Palais Quartier where it became quite overcrowded soon, but you still knew that everyone you wanted to see, could be found somewhere in one and the same room. Well, i dare to say that the 2015  Blogger Bazaar Edition could not really take up the big succes of 2014 - especially because of the bad weather, the demo and the fact that a lot of visitors did not find the time to witness this revival.
Here you can see some more impressions of the Blogger Bazaar Frankfurt 2015 - on the beginning of my post you could already have a look at the content of the "Fashion for Compliments" goodie bag (my very favorite was the hanger from Kleiderkreisel).

In den oberen Stockwerken waren bei meiner Ankunft (wenige Stunden nach dem offiziellem Einlass) auch leere Räume - fast schon ungewöhnlich für so ein gehyptes Event. Auf Instagram las ich dann auch, dass einige wohl auch so ihre Probleme hatten ihre Lieblingsblogger zu finden. Da lob ich mir den Blogger Bazaar 2014 im Palais Quartier, wo es zwar irgendwann brechend voll wurde, aber man wusste, dass eben alle in ein und demselben Raum zu finden waren. Ich wage mal zu behaupten, dass der diesjährige Blogger Bazaar nicht so ganz an den Erfolg von 2014 anknüpfen konnte - vor allem auch wegen dem schlechten Wetter, der Demo und die Tatsache, dass viele dieses Jahr auch einfach nicht die Zeit gefunden haben diesem Revival beizuwohnen.

Thomas Henry @ Bristol Bar Frankfurt

Frankfurt definitely is a metropolis that should gain a high score ranking among the Top 10 and well known German lifestyle and party cities - well, keeping an eye on the ranking kaufDA.de (a German based platform) is providing, Frankfurt is actually able to leave big German cities like Berlin, Hamburg and Munich far behind - Curious? - Have a look at the ranking → here (●^ ᴥ ^●).
Very wisely the event organizers of the Thomas Henry Buddies Beats and Burgers Tour also selected Frankfurt as a tour stop and the Bristol Bar as the event location for their homemade filler contest and to promote the taste of Thomas Henry Tonic infused drinks. The Bristol Bar where the event took place, is located near the Frankfurt main station and belongs to the same-titled Bristol Hotel.

Frankfurt ist definitiv eine Metropole, die in einem Top 10 Ranking der Partystädte Deutschlands ganz oben stehen sollte – und dass sie es in der Tat sogar vermag Berlin, Hamburg und München in Sachen Ranking ein Schnippchen zu schlagen - das könnt Ihr nämlich Schwarz auf Weiß anhand des von kaufDA.deerstellten Rankings → hier nachlesen (●^ ᴥ ^●). 

Wohlweislich suchte sich also die Thomas Henry Buddies Beats and Burgers Tour auch Frankfurt als Tour Stop aus und die Bristol Bar als Event Location für den hauseigenen Filler Contest und die live Verkostung der Thomas Henry Tonic Limonaden für Frankfurter Blogger und Presseleute. Die Bristol Bar, in der das Event rund um die Drinks und den besten Filler Contest statt fand, ist die gleichnamige Bar des Bristol Hotels, dass im Frankfurter Bahnhofsviertel gelegen ist. 

Thomas Henry stands for lemonade products which "authentic flavours" provide a range of diversity in your fridge and in every bar. Here i am going to introduce you my personal favorite among the Thomas Henry lemonade range: The Thomas Henry Cherry Blossom Tonic (❁´‿`❁). On the drinks menu we have been offered, the Cherry Blossom Tonic was included within the drink named "Pink Ink". As a pure lemonade drink the Thomas Henry Cherry Blossom Tonic is of course alcohol-free and naturally gluten-free as well (´∪`*)!

Thomas Henry steht für Limonaden Produkte, die mit ihren „authentic flavours“ für mehr Vielfalt im Kühlschrank und an der Bar sorgen. Ich stelle Euch hier meinen persönlichen Favorit unter den Thomas HenryLimonden vor – das Thomas Henry Cherry Blossom Tonic (❁´‿`❁).

Auf der Karte mit den Drinks war das Cherry Blossom Tonicunter dem Namen „Pink Ink“ zu finden.

Als pure Limonade ist das Thomas Henry Cherry Blossom Tonicnatürlich alkoholfrei und obendrein auch noch vegan & von Natur aus glutenfrei (´∪`*)!

The "burgers" here in Frankfurt were a very delicious and slight fare - in fact, an alternate version of the usual hearty meat patties. I cannot remember the actual ingredients, but the taste was simply delicious and excellent ( ˘ ³˘)!

In the following you can see some more impressions and as a little highlight to all BMW Mini fans: An original Berlin BMW Mini with a sparkling and refreshing Thomas Henry Tonic design, that we randomly discovered near the hotel (*＾ワ＾*) ...

Die "Burger" hier in Frankfurt waren eine äußerst leckere und vor allem leichte Kost - quasi eine alternative Version der sonst eher deftigen Fleisch-Patties. Ich kann leider gar nicht mehr so genau sagen, was die einzelnen Zutaten waren, aber die geschmackliche Note war einfach vorzüglich

Es folgen weitere Eindrücke und als kleines Highlight für alle BMW Mini Fans: 

Ein Berliner BMW Mini im spritzig-frischen Thomas Henry Tonic Design, den wir zufällig in der Nähe des Hotels gesehen haben (*＾ワ＾*) ...

King Kong @ Moschmosch Frankfurt

Es wird mal wieder höchste Zeit für einen neuen Post (๑´▿｀๑)! - und diesen widme ich meinem neuen Lieblingsgericht aus dem Hause Moschmosch mit dem ebenso bildgewältigen Namen "King Kong" (´∪`*). Ich kannte dieses Gericht früher noch unter dem Namen Yaki Udon, welches wie der Name schon sagt, ein Udon-Nudel Gericht ist (Udon, das sind diese "dicken" japanischen Nudeln aus Weizenmehl). Hierbei handelt es sich um gebratene Udon-Nudeln mit Chili-Wok Sauce ("Yaki Udon" wie es früher hieß - ist übrigens auch die japanische Bezeichnung für gebratene Nudeln). Der einzige Unterschied zur damaligen Variante ist soweit ich mich erinnern kann nur die Verwendung von Teriyaki Sauce, anstelle der in der aktuellen Version verwendeten Chili-Wok Sauce. Das Gericht ist also etwas "verschärft" worden (●^ー^●). Wer es also eher nicht so gerne scharf mag, der sollte die klein geschnittenen roten Chilis nicht unterschätzen. Zur Sicherheit habe ich mir noch ein großes & leckeres Glas mit dem berühmten hausgemachten Moschmosch Eistee (wer es etwas süßer mag, der nehme also den Eistee anstelle der gleichnamigen hausgemachten Limonade - die nette Bedienung hat mich da jedenfalls optimal beraten (*‿*✿)). Ansonsten findet Ihr noch saisonales Gemüse, Spinat, Sojasprossen, Rucola, Frühlingszwiebeln und Chili. Als extra Beilage habe ich mir das Rinderfilet in Pfefferkruste ausgesucht - wunderbar pikant (●^ ᴥ ^●). Dieses Gericht hat es also wirklich in sich und ist genau richtig für den ganz großen Großstadt-Hunger...

ヾ(●^ー^●)ノ Für alle, die auch mal probieren wollen, empfehle ich das 

Moschmosch Restaurant in der Europa-Allee 20 im Europaviertel in Frankfurt.

It`s about time for a new post (๑´▿｀๑)! So this post is dedicated to my favorite dish at Moschmosch in Frankfurt with its likewise visually stunning name “King Kong” (´∪`*). I have formerly known this dish on their menu as Yaki Udon, which is Japanese for a fried noodles dish. Udon noodles are “thick” wheat noodles – actually the thickest ones in Japanese kitchen. So “King Kong” is about fried Udon noodles with a special sauce – formerly it was teriyaki sauce and nowadays it is a chili-wok sauce. Compared to the past, the dish has been spiced up (●^ー^●) – however, i cannot remember if that dish was also spicy back then. Be aware if you are not used to have bits real chili in your meal. So just in case i ordered a delicious glass of their famous homemade ice tea (if you do not like it that sweet, just order their homemade lemonade – the kind waitress defenitely has advised me very well (*‿*✿). As you can see on the photos the other ingredients were seasonal vegetables, spinach, soybean sprouts, rocket salad, spring onions and chili. As an extra garnish i have ordered beef filet in a pepper crust – delicious spicy (●^ ᴥ ^●). So this dish really is the best if you are very hungry and a gourmand at heart...

Seit einigen Wochen steht außerdem noch eine kleine grüne Box von Yves Rocher mit dem neuen Highlight aus der Un Matin Au Jardin Reihe - Green Tea - noch völlig unangetastet herum (an dieser Stelle noch einen lieben Gruß an Michelle ♥ )...
Im nächsten Post stelle ich Euch den Inhalt und die Vorzüge von grünem Tee und meine besondere Vorliebe für diese wunderbare Teesorte vor.

Since several weeks i still left a little green box from Yves Rocher (lovely greetings to Michelle from ♥ ) with the new Un Matin au Jardin green tea collection unopened. In my next post i will show you a review of what was inside and about green tea and its beauty benefits.
