Cats & Colors - Meow Year 2016

 

Welcome and Happy New Year 2016! I am telling you, it is a very beautiful year - Why? Well, as you all might know Pantone - the world wide standard for color communication and inspiration - has chosen two colors as the color of the year 2016. And these two colors are: Rose Quartz and Serenity (hands up, if you instantly thinking about Sailor Moon while reading the name "Serenity" (´∪`*)) - a perfect unisex color combination that screams for spring. Definitely reason enough to fit these two awesome colors into the Vernissage & Cream header.

Willkommen im neuen Jahr 2016! Angesichts der Farbe(n) des Jahres - Rose Quartz & Serenity (oh, wer denkt hier nicht sofort an Sailor Moon (´∪`*)) - ein wunderschönes Jahr! Auserwählt wurden diese beiden Farben von Pantone, dem weltweiten Standard für Farbkommunikation und Inspiration. Aus diesem Anlass erhielt auch der Vernissage & Cream-Header einen neuen Anstrich. Es ist außerdem auch das erste Mal das Pantone zwei Farben als Farbe des Jahres vorstellt. Ich bin jedenfalls sehr gespannt inwieweit sich diese Farben hierzulande in der Fashion- und Beautywelt wieder finden.

I am starting the new blogger year with a little throwback-fashion-moment, because as you can see i am still sticking by my cat phone cases - and this fact simply claims for a suitable outfit (•‿• ). ...oh, and maybe some of you might remember my "Meow or Never - Cat Couture" post from the year 2014. There i have introduced my cat phone cases for the first time ( you can read the full post → here).

Ich beginne das neue Blogger Jahr mit einem kleinen Throwback-Fashion-Moment, denn wie Ihr unschwer erkennen könnt, bleibe ich auch dieses Jahr bei einem Cat-Phone Case - und das verlangt natürlich nach einem passenden Outfit (•‿• ).

Childhood Illustration Time

 

For all illustrators and art lovers i finally got another little illustration from my childhood. This illustration is from 1995 and still  clearly remember how proud i was about painting the cat's collar in every rainbow color with such a precision - every stripe patiencely drawn by hand (=´▿｀=)!

Für alle Illustratoren und Kunstfreunde unter Euch gibt es hier endlich wieder mal eine kleine Illustration aus meiner Kindheit. Diese Illustration stammt aus dem Jahr 1995 und ich erinnere mich noch ganz genau daran wie stolz ich auf dieses Halsband in Regenbogenfarben war - jeder Farbstrich fein säuberlich von Hand gemalt (=´▿｀=)!
