PLOG | Little thing called regret

Today I went to Rotterdam to do high tea for my friend's birthday at 100m high. Which isn't really high compared to other buildings in countries like the States but here where almost everything is flat, it makes quite a nice view. I was quite surprised at the pastries we got, it was quite good for the price of €19 and was satisfied. It got more expensive though when we entered the Euromast, you have to pay €9,50 to enter the exhibit. The entrance fee made it not worthy (I'm a cheapskate). That's why I was so bummed out afterwards that I didn't film anything to at least make the most out of it. I forgot my camera because I was in a hurry and was already running late. I didn't think of filming on my phone at that time.. 

But things happen and I tend to get too hung up on that sort of things. Like I shouldn't have said that instead I should've.. Blablablaa. It's kind of frustrating that it keeps on running in your head and you can't really help it, so that's why you have to write this post at 2AM. And this is just another case of something called regret.

So the lesson I've learned today is to never forget to bring your camera.

Yes, even if it's going to the bathroom. (Just kidding..don't bring it inside, it makes people uncomfortable. Unless you use your phone as a camera..)

So here we have a review and swatches of the Freedom Makeup palette called Today's tonight,what a cool name as it's meant for a day to night look.

so as you can see by the colours in the palette it actually does go from neutral ones side for the day to a more darker smokey look for a night out ♥

This palette is stunning and you get a huge mirror in the lid,sturdy packaging like all Freedom products and 20 of the most gorgeous pigmented colours from shimmer to matte,it is most important to me that a palette has matte shades too so this ticks the box,also important to me is that a palette has a matte highlight and a shimmer highlight,so this ticks both boxes.

I have taken swatches without flash and wish flash just to show of any shimmer colours in a better lighting.

so hopefully you can see the gorgeous shimmer shades and beautiful matte ones too,i love to have a choice of crease colours and this has lots of choice,it certainly does live upto the name of Today's Tonight as this can easily be worn in the day and then be transformed for a night out.

At only £6.00 this one would be hard to pass up and i can see it being very popular indeed.This is Available from Freedom website and Beauty Crowd Website and soon to be Superdrug too as Freedom Makeup will be going into some Superdrug's soon starting from October.

NEW IN | Shearling jean jacket

Guess where this jacket is from.

To be honest I'm not ready to bring out the winter coats out of my closet. Since Fall/Autumn in The Netherlands usually is just cloudy most of the day with a hint of sun sometimes, it's not responsible to just put on a lightweight jacket. Usually I just wear a leather jacket and put on a scarf if it's get chilly outside but sometimes it's just nice to grab something and go.  

This jean jacket is perfect for this. The jacket is fully lined with this shearling fabric so it's still warm inside but doesn't look like a snowstorm is coming. I'm planning to replace the black leather jacket with this shearling jean jacket, because lately I've been wearing leather too many times.

The best part is that the jacket is from Primark! For only 23 euros. Did you guessed it correctly?

I was looking for a pair of pants (which I still need to buy) but came across this jack.

VIDEO | What's in my backpack?

Yass another video for you guys. I'm on a roll! Today's video is a "What's in my backpack?" video. I've wanted to do this for a while but never really gotten into it. I hope you like the vid since it's a bit different than the usual but I like to be a bit unusual :). 

I've been searching for a nice backpack to replace my Fjallraven kanken one for some variety in my outfits. So it was such a coincidence when people from Marington asked me to do a productreview on one of the many bags they're selling. I came across this suede light grey backpack from MiPac and it's exactly what I was searching for! I was looking for a backpack to carry my stuff if I want to go work on my blog or some project elsewhere. One that I can wear without feeling like a highschool teenager (I'm referring to the times when I went to highschool myself, not to the kids nowadays looking much older than they are). This model is quite simple which I like and the light grey color makes any outfit look more clean. The suede material differentiate the backpack from other backpacks and makes it more expensive looking.

The only thing is that I like wearing backpacks that look like they've been worn for several years or that they've been through a firestorm. And this backpack is still a little bit stiff, so I need to break it in. I've been wearing this bag for several days now and so far it's getting less stiff which I'm happy about. I'll be showing you how I style this backpack in a future post soon!

OOTD | Heading to the city

When at least five people a day comment on your ripped jeans (not this jeans though) even though the holes are intentional and when you go to your part time job and someone (that someone being my brother) ask you not to wear teen clothes mentioning my ripped jeans, you know you need to buy some new pair of jeans. I've been looking in my closet but can't seem to find some regular skinny jeans, it might seem weird but somewhere between the ripped jeans trend my regular skinny's are disappearing. To be honest, I'm pretty much over the ripped jeans, it's getting a bit boring and winter is coming so it's not so practical. So I'm heading to the city to find me some good pair of skinny's.

Today's outfit is simple yet comfortable. I'm wearing my boyfriend jeans with an offshoulder top. I like to pair these jeans with some ankle boots or heels and this time I choose this fringed boot. I fell in love with it at first time while I was in Valencia. It's by the Italian brand 'Primadonna' and cost only 20 euros. I couldn't leave that behind!

 Freedom Pro Decadence Palette - Magic Palette Makeup Review

This is a review on the Freedom Makeup eye shadow palette called Magic with 20 stunning shades.

If you still have not heard of Freedom then they are the sister brand and more Pro brand of Makeup revolution.

As you know i love MUR so I'm bound to love Freedom too :)

You can purchase this palette fro the Freedom Website or the Beauty Crowd Website .

As you can see this is the most beautiful neutral shadow palette,to the left of the palette you will see matte shades and to the right stunning shimmery shades.I do think you need both matte and shimmer in a palette for it to be usable without reaching for another palette,this has a matte highlight and shimmer one too which again is a must for me,I love to have a shimmer highlight for the inner corner of my eye but love a matte highlight for the brow bone,also a few crease colours to choose from so a huge thumbs up.

Now onto the swatches,i took the photos with and without flash to give you an idea of what shadows have shimmer etc.

So my verdict of this palette is that you get 20 stunning shades for £6.00 which is crazy cheap and totally worth the money as they are buttery and blend well and very pigmented,so glad i purchased this♥

VLOG #1 | Foodtruck Festival

Okay, bear with me guys.. So as you can see I made my very first vlog! Since I'm planning to go to Taiwan for a little while, I thought it would be nice to do some vlogs there because I'll have some free time there. To practice a bit, I decided to vlog yesterday. I went to the Foodtruck festival in my neighbourhood with some friends of mine. I seriously have my respect for those who frequently vlog! When I was editing I can't believe at how many weird faces I constantly was making.. It certainly makes you more conscious of how you look on a daily basis. Ah well, I'll get used to it and hope to improve each time.

The only thing I was still contemplating about is vlogging in English or Dutch? I decided to do my first vlog in Dutch since it will be easier for me to get used to first. But I'll still might switch up.. I don't know, what do you guys think?

So onto the vlog itself, I went to the Foodtruck Trek Festival yesterday with some friends of mine. It is the 3rd one I've attended (Yes, I like food way too much). It was such a pleasure for my tastebuds but not so for my wallet but we still had a lot of fun. The atmosphere was just so fun even though it rained for a bit.

So how do you like the vlog? Should I continue to vlog in Dutch or switch it up in English?

So i was sent a few items to review from a company called 

Glow & Ray,i had never actually heard of this company before so i thought it would be great to try out a new brand.

So i got sent three items and straight away i though the packaging was simple and elegant bold lettering that really stands out.

The first item i was sent was a long wearing mousse eye shadow in the colour Ecru Land 450.

I wouldn't say it feels like mousse as it's not soft it's hard yet very creamy,this colour was a very light gold champagne with a shimmer.

i wore this all over the lid last week and applied just using my finger,it was simple and looked great actually with just black winged liner on top,a very simple quick look.

Did it last all day???

Yes I'm totally happy to say that it lasted the whole day from morning to night without creasing at all,this is a very pale shade so i would love to try more darker or vibrant shades too.

Then here i was sent a navy blue liner which is nice as it's different from your everyday black.It is in the colour Eternity,the packaging is matte and nice to the touch and it's a long lasting eye liner.It goes onto my water line OK but i wouldn't say it is the best,i would use this more below my lashes or to smudge as it's a really gorgeous smokey colour.

This  is a wind up liner so no need for sharpener which is fab.

The last thing i was sent is a mascara called Infinite lash definition mascara.

I didn't actually expect it to be so small,i don't mean the product but the brush,the brush is tiny tiny which is really good actually for getting to my bottom lashes.I always use two mascara's mixed anyway,doesn't matter what brand i always use two as gives me more of an umph.

So i would say this was great for bottom lashes more and it's really black and lasts well.

So my thoughts are that i really did like everything although i would like to try more from the company,maybe some lip products and different colours in the mousse shadows too as mine wore perfect the whole day long

So this is a review on some items i purchased from Beauty Crowd Pro from Milani as i only own one or two items,so was really excited to buy more.

I'm so glad i did and would like to share with you what i purchased.

So this was my package and i was so eager to open it as Beauty Crowd website always packages things so well and send out to you really fast,i got this within 2 days :)

Here are the goodies i bought,as you can see i got a selection so i will go through them one by one,but how amazing do they look?

Seriously i was drooling lol hee hee ♥

Beautiful green shimmery baked eye shadow,i love using green on my brown eyes and this is a glittery type with high pigmentation in a dome shape {very cute}it is called Runway eyes 08 shamrock and also can be used dry or even wet for more intensity.

Next is a beautiful cream matte shadow with only a slight sheen so great as a base colour or for me an under brow bone highlight as white is sometimes a bit too harsh,so being cream is perfect and it's called 01 Bella Ivory gel powder eyeshadow,not sure why it's called gel as doesn't feel gel one bit just a soft powder form.again check out the link above as they are adding new Milani items all the time and they go out of stock quite quick

So the above blush was one of the items i couldn't wait to get my hands on,I'm a total sucker for pretty makeup and this is by far some of the most beautiful designs i have seen,i got a beautiful peach shade so great for all year around to be honest,it is a matte and has no shimmer but as you can see is very pigmented and would look fantastic on your vanity/dressing table.

So here is a cute milani palette i got,again i really love purple on my brown eyes but i think purple suits anybody.You get six colours from light to dark,some are matte some are shimmer.

The palette comes with a small applicator,they are in strips which looks really pretty but can be hard to use with your brush,also i don't think they are the most pigmented i have ever seen so i took one photo with and without flash for you to see the difference,but still quite pigmented and very beautiful.

Called Runway eyes03 couture eyes in purples.

This is a Milani anti feathering lip liner in transparent.

I have not tried this yet as own a few by different brands in these transparent liners,so i can say the others i have tried are fab,You can use this with any colour lipstick or any lip product really to stop it feathering,so get flawless defined lips with this,check it out on the link below..

This is probably my favourite item along with the flower blusher at the top,omg this lipstick is just 

"DA BOMB" can i say that if I'm not American ha ha,but honestly this is the most gorgeous lipstick ever,the colour is perfect and a Milani Matte,although it's not drying it's just thick and creamy,i know you will just love them,this is in shade 71 matte Flirty,but they do have many shades,the link is below if you would like to own one of these or even more,i would love to own the whole set lol ♥
