Illustrator Selfie

After i have already shown you some of my childhood illustrations, i thought its time for some more up-to-date ones. The whole world is addicted to taking selfies, so i decided to show you two of my drawn selfies - they are from a time where i used to have quite short hair and bangs (first drawing). HOWEVER, it only looks nice drawn, but actually my hair was freaking me out at that time - thanks to an in my eyes very untalented hairstylist that seems to has never ever learnd something about hair type consulting and individual hair structures (๑~_~๑). Lucky me, my hair grows rather fast (second drawing) and that hairy catastrophe was finally gone (ღ˘⌣˘ღ).

Nachdem ich Euch schon einige meiner Illustrationen aus meiner Kindheit gezeigt habe, dachte ich mir, Euch mal etwas aktuellere Werke zu zeigen. Da ja alle Welt im Selfie-Fieber ist, habe ich hier mal zwei gezeichnete Selfies von mir ausgesucht. Man glaubt es kaum, aber ich hatte tatsächlich mal ziemlich kurze Haare und einen Pony (obere Zeichnung). ABER: das sieht nur als Zeichnung relativ gut aus - und zu verdanken hatte ich das einer meiner Meinung nach völlig unfähigen Friseuse, die wohl noch nie etwas von Typberatung und Haarstruktur gehört hat (๑~_~๑). Glücklicherweise wuchsen meine Haare ziemlich schnell nach (untere Zeichnung) und die einstmals haarige Katastrophe war endlich verschwunden (ღ˘⌣˘ღ).

If you follow me on Instagram you surely noticed that i spontaneously decided to submit an artwork for the international Illustration Open Call of Valentino and Draw A Dot. I actually did not win, but its always a nice challenge to compete with some of the world's best professional illustrators - and who knows what future brings (*＾ワ＾*) .

Wer mir auf Instagram folgt, der hat sicherlich mitbekommen, dass ich mich spontan dazu entschlossen hatte am internationalen Illustration Open Call von Valentino und Draw A Dot teilzunehmen. Ich habe zwar nicht gewonnen, aber es ist doch immer wieder eine wahnsinns Herausforderung sich mit einigen der besten und professionellen Illustratoren der Welt zu messen - und wer weiß schon, was die Zukunft bringt (*＾ワ＾*) .
