Disney fun

A few days ago I went to Paris, France with a couple of friends to go see EuroDisney! I haven't been there in a while so it was nice to visit it with my friends. I had a blast and the weather behaved itself. Here are some pictures of my trip, mainly of my outfit in Disney. It is the one and almost only time where you can go all childish without being inappropriate. So I opted for a cropped shirt with dungarees and to top it off wore some minnie mouse ears. How much more Disney can you get?

Time goes so fast! It's already August and I'm no way near ready to go back to uni. Since I didn't plan to go somewhere far this holiday, I decided to do fun things nearby. Which includes lots of fun with friends, food and festivals. Tomorrow will be 'Latin Village' music festival which I'm so stoked about! And I'll be heading out to Paris next weekend to go see Mickey Mouse and a few sightseeings. So lots of fun planned!

I feel like I keep apologising for the lack of posts, but I will make it up!

From Where I Stand - Hello August!

Some impressions of my room and our backyard garden in the Philippines - everything looks so nice and peaceful after the typhoon has gone. During daytime you totally forgot about the actual brownout, that was caused by the typhoon the night before.You surely noticed my long absence from blogging, well, I did not have a proper internet connection at my place, so that's why i was not constantly updating my Instagram. Anyway, July was definitely the worst time to travel to the Philippines, because it's the beginning of the rainy season which also means that at least 18 typhoons will hit the country more or less.Therefore, let's enjoy every day that is blessed with sunshine...

Hallo Ihr Lieben, ich bin wieder da - I am back home!

Nachdem ich die letzten Wochen eher unfreiwillig einige Tage auf eine Art fernöstlichen Survival Trip war  ~(‾▿‾~) (wir hatten ausgelöst durch einen heftigen Taifun auf den Philippinen mehrere Tage keinen Strom und fließend Wasser, geschweige denn eine ordentliche Internetverbindung), freue ich mich endlich wieder Zuhause (ﾉ◕ヮ◕)ﾉ zu sein!
Passenderweise ist hier in Deutschland immernoch Sommer und schön warm - August ist immerhin auch der letzte und schönste Sommermonat im Kalender - daher war die Umstellung auch relativ angenehm.
Der Juli war definitiv ein überaus schlechter Zeitpunkt um auf die Philippinen zu reisen, denn gerde jetzt beginnt in dieser Ecke Südostasiens die Regenzeit (≚ᄌ≚) (in Singapur hat es bei meinem Rückflug auch regelrechte Wasserfälle geregnet). Die wenigen, reinen Sonnentage habe ich natürlich standesgemäß in meinen super bequemen Islander Zehentretern fotografisch festgehalten.

Angesichts der Umstände bin ich bis auf meine Recherschearbeit in Sachen Lifestyle-Food-Trend und Philippinische Küche, aber sonst nicht mehr zu weiteren großartigen Aktivitäten in Sachen Fashion und Beauty gekommen... machts nichts, wird hoffentlich nächstes Jahr nachgeholt (*´∀｀*).
